GeneralSummary
Sensors-basedtechnologyhasawiderangeofapplicationsincludingnavigation,gaming,smartuserinterface,multimedia,virtualreality,andaugmentedreality.Thischallengingpositionofferstheopportunitytoworkwithleadingedgesensortechnologiesembeddedinsmartphones,automotive,IOT,smartwatchesaswellasotherconsumerelectronicsdevices.JobactivitiesspanthewholeproductlifecyclefromearlyR&Dtocommercialdeployment.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillworkwithsystems,software,andintegration/testengineersintheQCTsensorsgroup

Jobresponsibilitiesinclude
- ImplementsensorsignalprocessingandmachinelearningalgorithmsacrossvariousembeddedSOCs.
- Debug,verify,optimize,andtuneCcodeforMATLAB/Pythonsignalprocessingandmachinelearningalgorithms.
- ProficiencyinC
- FamiliaritywithPythonandMATLAB
- TheabilitytoimplementMATLAB-codedalgorithmsinC
- FamiliaritywithRTOSandmulti-threadedprogrammingenvironments.
- Balanceengineeringconsiderationssuchasperformance,memory,power,andcomplexity.
- Assistotherdevelopmentandtestingteamswithalgorithmdeployment.
- Prototypeonreferencehardwareplatforms.
- DocumentimplementationflowsandSWarchitecturedesign.
ThepositionistechnologyfocusedandinvolvesparticipationinabroadrangeofsensorssystemsengineeringactivitieswithintheSensorsTechnologiesgroup
PreferredQualifications
- Atleast3yearsofembeddedsoftwaredevelopment,withexperienceinimplementingdigitalsignalprocessing,machinelearningalgorithmsinC/C++.
- Hands-onexperienceonMLframeworkssuchasPyTorchandTensorFlow,
- ExperiencewithfixedpointimplementationandtheuseofquantizationforMLmodels.
- Anunderstandingoftheoperationofaccelerometers,gyroscopes,magnetometers,etc.
- Detailoriented,takingathoroughandanalyticalapproach,producingcompletedocumentation.
- Excellentwritten,verbal,andpresentationskills.
