Senior Engineer Functional Verification at OPENCHIP & SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES. The role involves interfacing with architecture, design, physical implementation and software teams to ensure systems perform to the highest level. Work may include high-level modelling, UVM, HW/SW Co-Debug, and Simulation Acceleration support.

Responsibilities
- Reading and analysing the system requirements and architecture requirement documents.
- Developing verification environment development and maintenance in SystemVerilog/UVM/SystemC/C++, including Stimulus, Checkers, Assertions, Trackers, and Coverage.
- Executing verification plans, including design bring-up, DV environment bring-up, regressions and debugging test failures.
- Using standard verification tools and flows (Simulators, Coverage Analyzers, Unix, Continuous Integration, Bug Tracking).
- Creating and executing test cases to verify functionality, performance, and robustness in embedded C and SystemVerilog.
- Identifying, isolating, and debugging issues found during verification, leveraging simulation and debugging tools to root-cause failures and drive resolution with design and architecture teams.
- Working with cross-functional teams to achieve verification closure, conducting coverage analysis, bug tracking, and regression testing to ensure quality and completeness of verification activities.
- Participating in verification methodology improvements and organizing work and deliverables across teams.
- Mentoring and training opportunities for junior verification engineers.
- Master degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in verification of complex SoC or IP.
- Experience in SystemVerilog/UVM and SystemC/C++.
- Experience in constrained random testing, functional coverage development, and design debugging.
- Experience in Formal Verification, UPF.
- Experience in HW-SW co-verification and simulation.
- Experience or familiarity with firmware-based verification is advantageous.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash/Perl/Python.
- Experience using verification management tools.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex verification issues.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Firmware-based verification experience.
- Knowledge of metrics-driven verification.
- Insights into NOC and other IPs or standard peripherals like PCIe, DDR, HBM.
- Team player, able to work with multiple cultures on site and remotely.
