We are looking for a new Mid Software Frontend Engineer to join our Consumer Group at Phorest

You’ll join a multidisciplinary group of technology, product, and design folks building the future of the hair, beauty, and MedSpa industry. You’ll be a key member of the team, helping us design and build the future of our multi-tenant SaaS platform so our customers can engage, attract, win, and retain clients.
You’ll be joining the Consumer Group, working with a group of highly skilled engineers building exciting new features. Your primary responsibilities will involve working with a modern Ember.js frontend stack, incorporating a new design system based on Tailwind. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with GraphQL, Apollo, and Node.js.
What You'll Do
- Push the boundaries of modern frontend development to build fast, ambitious web applications that will delight our clients.
- Collaborate closely with our product team to build features that have a significant business impact.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and improve our frontend developer experience.
- Work with our design team to build elegant and intuitive UI components.
- Understand our business context and leverage engineering knowledge to come up with creative solutions to problems.
- Prioritize quality through clean, maintainable code, reuse, and solid testing practices.
- Coach and support teammates through code reviews and collaboration.
Who You Are
Strong proficiency and at least 3 years of professional experience with Ember.js (or another modern JS framework, e.g. React).
Experience working with APIs (REST, with GraphQL a bonus).
Ability to reason about trade-offs when discussing frontend technologies.
Quality and high standards matter to you: maintainability, clean code, and testing.
