In this role, you will work as part of the engineering team to ensure the smooth development and handover of engineering controls from conception to commissioning and into sustaining operations. You will provide project engineering expertise in the scoping, design & installation of process plant and packaging equipment projects across Dublin Sites.
Responsibilities
- Engineering support for new & existing installation.
- Working as part of the engineering team to ensure the smooth development & handover of engineering controls from conception to commissioning and into sustaining operations.
- Preparing URS and agreeing scope for projects.
- Coordination of cross functional SME's and engineering design consultants in project design phase, design risk and HAZOP assessments.
- Preparing budgets and CAPEX requests for projects.
- Coordination of the project through procurement activities with purchasing org.
- Preparing and tracking project budget & schedule.
- Project management, safely managing and directing contractors during construction phase.
- Commissioning, ramp up and hand-over to operations.
Experience
- A degree qualification in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical engineering.
- Minimum 4 years' experience is project management.
- Possess good interpersonal skills, demonstrate good organisational ability and be able to work off their own initiative.
- Be able to prepare and present project proposals to the management team.
- Experience of working in a live production and chemical environment.
- Ability to lead and keep a clear head under pressure is essential to this role.
- Logical problem solving and solution development is a key demand of this role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Teams and standard MS office suite of programs is desirable. xcfaprz
