Overview Of Role
- Become part of a growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementation
- Machine control system software design, development & commissioning
- A great opportunity to gain varied experience in the design of high-tech engineering applications
Main Tasks
- Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision
- Develop, test, commission & support machine control software
- Design of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients’ standards
- Interpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc)
- Specification of control system components
- Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle
Experience
- 3yrs+ experience in Equipment Automation
- PLC & HMI experience desirable, preferably with Allen Bradley
- Knowledge of automated machine design, specification & xcfaprz development
- Ability to create technical documentation
- Familiarity with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics an advantage
