About

To evaluate and validate measurement systems and equipment, ensuring their capability to provide accurate, reliable, and consistent results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute Gauge R&R studies (both repeatability and reproducibility) for various measurement systems.
  • Perform statistical analysis on measurement data to evaluate measurement system variation.
  • Provide recommendations for improving measurement system accuracy and precision.
  • Collect data using measurement instruments and coordinate with operators and technicians for data consistency.
  • Use statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, etc.) to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Identify sources of variation in the measurement system and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work closely with quality engineers, production teams, and suppliers to address measurement system issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of corrective actions when measurement errors are detected.
  • Prepare detailed reports that summarize Gauge R&R study results, conclusions, and recommended actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Maintain records of validation activities for audit and traceability purposes.
  • Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance the measurement process and reduce variability in production.
  • Lead projects focused on improving measurement system performance.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role, with a focus on measurement systems and Gauge R&R studies.
  • Proven experience using statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, JMP) to perform measurement system analysis.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is desirable. xcfaprz
  • Experience in calibration, validation, and equipment qualification processes.
  • Experience with metrology equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.).
