Care Connexxus Adult Day Services is a non-profit agency dedicated to improving the quality of life for adult patients who are physically, mentally or socially dependent.
Our current opening is for FULLTIME Program Aides who can provide personal care with ADL's, individuals who can work in both 1:1 and Group Activities, as well as assist with Maintenance Occupational and Physical Therapy.
This is a fun and rewarding job for those who would enjoy assisting with leading group activities such as: morning exercise, table games, current events, dance, musical games, and other cognitive stimulating activities.
At minimum, a High School Diploma or GED is required. Students of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Recreational Therapy, or Nursing are also welcome to apply!
Activities Training, CNA, Medical Assistant or other Caregiver type training is preferred. But we also want bright, cheerful, and highly motivated personalities!
*Skills/ Requirements:*
State law requires the applicant have an accredited High School degree or equivalent GED.
Must be able to pass a background clearance (Live Scan FIngerprinting).
\* Food Handler's Certificate a plus.
It is preferred that the Candidate also have background/ experience caring for disabled person(s) in any setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
