Calibration Technician A
to join our team in

Plan, check, set up, and operate, basic and advanced Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or process equipment Use calibration standards (dimensional, electrical, thermal, and optical) to calibrate, adjust, certify, maintain, and repair M&TE/process equipment using approved calibration procedures, process specifications, equipment drawings, and M&TE /process equipment manufacturer's performance specifications Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document results Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of shop floor equipment, laboratory and test-related problems Route M&TE/process equipment between receiving area, customer, and calibration lab Coordinate with customers to calibrate stationary equipment while limiting machine downtime Update equipment status using established systems and complete associated paperwork Ensure equipment is ready for calibration per metrology processes Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with metrology lab processes Provide information and clarification to customers on metrology processes Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
5+ years of experience calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) ~1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite ~ Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
Bachelor's degree in a technical field in lieu of experience in calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) Precision metrology equipment lab training

Shift: This role is primarily second shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
Union: This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.

Summary Pay Range:
$33.32/hour to start for new union members, with potential to earn up to $61.01/hour at max pay Applications for this position will be accepted until
