Project Manager - Commercial Doors, Frames and Hardware

High Mountain Hardware, Inc. is a family-owned distributor and manufacturer of commercial doors, door frames, and commercial door hardware that has been in business for nearly 60 years. We are committed to building long-term working relationships with our clients to ensure successful completion of commercial construction projects with high quality products and exceptional customer service.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Project Manager to oversee the coordination and supply of project specific door, frame, and hardware packages. This role ensures projects meet specifications, quality standards, and are on time and within budget.

The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for:

• Provide exceptional customer service with a professional, positive attitude
• Coordinate project details, submittals, and purchasing documentation
• Set up and manage project files, including specs, plans, transmittals, POs, and change orders
• Attend job site meetings to ensure optimal project outcomes
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Maintain project schedules and budget targets

Essential Functions

• Input take-offs and manage data in project software
• Analyze drawings and specs to create accurate shop drawings and submittals
• Prepare RFIs for specification or design clarifications
• Conduct occasional site visits for field measurements and client coordination
• Scan and organize documents in company systems
• Stay current with product knowledge, detailing techniques, and industry tools
• Coordinate deliveries with site personnel

Experience & Other Requirements

• Experience in the commercial door, frame, and hardware industry is required
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and contract documents
• Comfortable with extended computer work
• Moderate computer proficiency: experience with Software for Hardware or Comsense is a plus
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000 - $85,000
