Role: Fantastic opportunity for a Facilities & Utilities Project Engineer with our client, a global biopharmaceutical company based in South Dublin. The Facilities & Utilities Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all system installations, upgrades and modifications within facilities and utilities systems comply with cGMP standards, meet project timelines and safety requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver Facilities and Utilities engineering projects, including HVAC systems, cleanrooms, mechanical and electrical infrastructure, purified water, clean steam, and compressed air systems.
  • Manage installation, modification, and upgrade activities for production utilities and building services to support manufacturing operations.
  • Prepare and control project documentation such as URS, design reviews, commissioning plans, and validation reports.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure project goals, safety, and compliance are met.
  • Support commissioning and qualification (IQ/OQ) of utilities and critical systems in compliance with GMP and EHS standards.
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related).
  • 5+ years of experience in Facilities or Utilities projects within a pharmaceutical or a biopharma environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for FDA regulated environments and cGMP guidelines.
  • Solid understanding of engineering systems and project lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. xcfaprz
