The Role – Field Service Engineer
This is a hands-on, varied, and well-paid engineering role where no two days are the same.
- Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, install and commission ScaleAQ systems
- Diagnose and repair equipment including motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, and PLC systems
- Carry out workshop repairs at our Fort William base
- Provide technical advice and support to customers
- Complete electronic job sheets, risk assessments, and reports

Who We are Looking ForYou might already work in:
- Aquaculture
- Marine or offshore
- Industrial maintenance
- Manufacturing, automation, or plant engineering
- Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience
- Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, or PLCs
- Good IT and fault-finding skills
- A full UK driving licence
- A flexible, problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
You will travel across:
- Mainland Scotland
- Orkney
- Western Isles
- Ireland
Some short-notice travel is required, and you will join a weekend on-call rota (with extra pay).
