We are seeking a senior procurement leader (Director level) to oversee procurement operations, governance, and team management, working on a major rail infrastructure project in Ireland.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, managing a team of 20, including 5 direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and management of procurement documents and strategies, ensuring alignment with commercial policies and best practices and EU Procurement Directives and Irish National Regulations and laws.
- Client Side and stakeholder management
- Proven track record managing and developing teams
Requirements
- Extensive experience at a senior level within procurement and contract management functions in a range of complex high-profile construction, engineering and service-oriented areas and in a demanding safety critical environment as a client or for client bodies. xcfaprz
- Knowledge of the NEC and other standard contract forms and commercial risks.
