We are actively seeking a new Maintenance Operations Manager to join our well known client in Cavan to oversee and support a team of maintenance technicians. The Maintenance Operations Manager will oversee all maintenance activities at the Cavan site, ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement to support efficient production.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance across all processing and packing lines.
- Manage PPM schedules and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and refrigeration issues.
- Ensure full compliance with food, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead and develop a multi-skilled maintenance team.
- Manage budgets, spare parts, contractors, and service providers.
- Support capital projects, upgrades, and new equipment procurement.
Requirements
- Engineering background (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial or equivalent).
- 5+ years’ maintenance leadership experience in food processing.
- Strong problem-solving, team leadership, and regulatory knowledge.
- Experience with budgeting and maintenance software; comfortable in cold-chain environments. xcfaprz
Desirable: automation/PLC knowledge, trade qualification, wastewater experience, CAD skills.
