Design Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Manager to lead a dynamic in-house design team with one of Ireland’s leading timber frame and roof structure manufacturers. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong management and leadership skills, the ability to work well under pressure, while coordinating closely with production, estimating, and site teams to deliver efficient, high-quality design solutions. This is a permanent role based in Co.Longford.

• Manage design programmes in line with client agreements.
  
• Oversee technical aspects of projects and support tender processes.
  
• Collaborate with production to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
  
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers.
  
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  

• 
  
• Minimum 3 Years Experience in a Senior Design role in the Timber Frame, Modular Design, or Residential Sectors.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
