About the Staking Platform Our mission is clear: to develop platform services that enable top-notch staking products for our retail and institutional customers. This approach ensures users can earn dividends on their crypto assets while contributing to the security and decentralization of underlying blockchain networks. As the third-largest revenue stream at Coinbase, generating over $700M in annual recurring revenue, our staking services stand as a vital component of our business strategy. The Coinbase Staking Data Team plays a crucial role in supporting these products through the creation and maintenance of reliable blockchain data pipelines and APIs. We prioritize the accuracy and scalability of staking data while integrating new blockchain assets. Additionally, we assist in developing technology that enhances annual percentage yields (APY). By addressing complex technical challenges, our team facilitates seamless staking experiences for all users, contributing to the expansion of decentralized finance. Your Role: Collaborate with various internal teams to integrate our services effectively.
Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to uphold high coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues that arise.
What We Seek in You: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
Familiarity with GoLang and/or Ruby is advantageous.
You have hands-on experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, with a firm grasp of service-oriented architecture.
Experience in decomposing large software systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
You produce high-quality, well-tested code that addresses customer needs.
A keen attention to detail.
A passion for creating an open financial system that unites diverse communities.
Nice to Have: A background in cryptocurrency.
Experience working with Solana data, indexing, and scaling large systems.
Familiarity with on-chain activities, such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with decentralized applications (dApps).
