Ventilation and Cleaning Engineer

Professional Cleaner with Commercial Kitchen Cleaning and Degreasing Experience - Grease trap and ventilation systems as well as moisture extraction system installations in Bathrooms. Applicant must have experience with safe work practice using Cleaning Chemicals and detergents. This job involves Builders Clean Pre Hand-over, Gutter, Facias, Soffit Cleaning. Experience in Scizzor lift and Cherry Picker Operations essential and applicant must not be afraid of Heights or working from Scaffolding. Ability to work safely and efficiently from long ladders. Applicant must have experience in erecting and dismantling Aluminium tower Scaffolding safely.

Valid Clean Drivers Licence and ability to tow double axle Trailer with experience in Commercial Van Operations. Irish issued SAFEPASS and manual handling training and certificate required. Successful Applicant must be willing and comfortable working outside in the Cold, Wet and Windy Irish Conditions year round.

Experience in Mechanical and Engine Maintenance / Repairs on small 4-stroke Honda engines, Repairing High Pressure Pumps and Hoses. This job involves using pressure-washers, lawnmowers, strimmers and leaf blowers for cleaning up and garden maintenance. Clean-up, Building and Garden waste removal and transport to landfill or recycling Centres by trailer and van. Unblock External Sewerage and Rain Water Drain Cleaning Experience a bonus as applicant.

Construction and Property Maintenance: Successful applicant will need to understand and be able to do basic Bathroom and Kitchen Plumbing and Repairs, Replacing Radiators or Radiator valves, plus drain and pressurise Central Heating Systems - on the job training can be provided with Central Heating Systems. Willingness to practice or learn Basic Carpentry Skills required to install Laminate Floors, Hang doors, Repair Locks Handles and hinges etc, Fit Skirting and Architrave and Repair or Replace Kitchen Cabinets and Worktops as part of Property Maintenance Works. Experience in Tiling of Bathroom walls, Floors and Kitchen Splashbacks a bonus. Applicant need to be strong enough to be able to move Furniture and replace Appliances ie Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Fridge/Freezers etc. Manual handling training will be provided. Successful applicant must have a good manner with people, excellent communication skills and be good at administration and the keeping of clear logs of works carried out with daily Application sheets. Applicant must have a neat and tidy manner to clean up after themselves and never leave a mess behind.

Successful applicant must be willing to commit for a minimum of 2 years. Applicant will have to source own accommodation and transport to and from place of work.
