Our client is seeking a strong, relationship-driven Manufacturing Manager who thrives in a unionised environment and understands the importance of collaboration, communication, and on-the-floor presence.
The Role
The Manufacturing Manager will take full responsibility for production performance across the site, ensuring safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people objectives are consistently achieved. You will play a pivotal role in fostering positive engagement with union representatives while building trust and credibility across the wider workforce.
This is a highly visible leadership position requiring someone who is hands-on, approachable, and passionate about creating a high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations in line with business KPIs

Build strong working relationships with union representatives and site teams
*
Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
*
Develop and coach production teams to maximise performance
*
Work cross-functionally with Technical, Engineering, and Supply Chain functions
*
Manage labour planning, productivity, and cost control
About You
*
Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager within food manufacturing or a similar FMCG environment xcfaprz
*
Demonstrated experience operating within a unionised site
*
Strong leadership and relationship-building capability
*
A visible, hands-on management style
*
Solid understanding of food safety, quality, and operational compliance
*
Track record of driving performance and cultural improvement
