Responsibilities
- Budget Management: Preparing cost estimates, managing expenditures, and controlling expenses to avoid budget overruns.
- Site Supervision: Coordinating daily site operations, managing laborers, and directing subcontractors.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
- Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of construction work and inspecting materials.
- Communication: Reporting project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Extensive experience in construction trades or project management.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in construction science, engineering, or architecture is often preferred, though not always required if extensive, relevant field experience is present. xcfaprz
- Skills: Proficiency in construction software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD), strong leadership, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
