Job Responsibilities

  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine approaches to solve problems.
  • Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies.
  • Keep the team and key stakeholders informed on the progress of development work.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Hands‑on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Familiarity with modern front‑end technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies.

The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.
