This Position is responsible for both central banking and financial regulation and has the primary objective of promoting systemic financial stability in Ireland and across the euro area. It ensures the proper and effective regulation of financial institutions and markets in Ireland while also ensuring that the best interests of consumers of financial services are protected. The strategic responsibilities of the Bank relate to its primary objectives set out in legislation are described on the Bank.

It requires the services of a senior Cloud Services Administrator to work with our Operational and Project teams to design and deliver change into our Azure Network following the Bank’s standards and principles. This role will work closely with the Bank’s Cloud Architect to design solutions and implement changes required. The role will require an understanding of technical cloud architecture and be knowledgeable in infrastructure migrations. Proficiency in Terraform scripting is necessary for the role. The resource will report into the Technology Architecture Manager.

1. Experience level required It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of 7+ years’ experience overall as a Cloud Services Architect.

2.Availability on Commencement Date The resource must be available to provide services from the commencement date of the services estimated to be April 2026.

3.Qualification/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent experience is required. Moreover, relevant industry certification such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS Certified Solution Architect or Microsoft MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure is required.

High proficiency, both verbal and written The Resource’s CV must indicate whether the Resource is a native English speaker or otherwise. Where a Resource is NOT a native English speaker, s/he must have the following:

A certificate under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages at level C2 Mastery or Proficiency, or its equivalent. However, where a proposed Resource is fluent in English but does not have the certificate, the Framework Client will accept the proposed Resource’s CV for evaluation. Should the proposed Resource invited for presentation, the Framework Client will verify the English Requirement during the presentation.

Design cloud environments with a focus on Azure and demonstrate technical cloud architectural knowledge, playing a vital role in the design of production, staging, QA, and development of cloud infrastructures

Implement and oversee all aspects of the cloud environment including provisioning, scale, monitoring, and security

Delivery of cloud strategies, aligned with business objectives and with a focus on cloud migrations

Provide leadership in infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques including mass application movements into the cloud

Nurture cloud computing expertise internally and externally to drive cloud adoption

Act as key stakeholder for validation of new cloud or SaaS solutions adhere to architecture roadmap

Implement required systems, solutions, and processes needed to manage cloud cost, monitoring, scalability, and redundancy are accounted for and continuously validated

Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance best practices

Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data Platform, DevOps and Operation Teams to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices2.

Proven experience in supporting cloud solutions

Proven experience in Azure and AWS based cloud architecture and migration skills and experience

Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end cloud infrastructure, architectures, and designs

Knowledge of additional cloud technologies such as GCP, VMware, API Management, and Identity Management

Knowledge and implementation of enterprise scale cloud security platforms and tooling

Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Architect, with focus on AWS and Azure clouds, server, storage, and networking

Ability to understand and articulate the technical merits and value of cloud computing

Passionate, persuasive, articulate cloud professional capable of quickly establishing interest and credibility in how to design, deploy and operate cloud-based architectures

Experience in enterprise applications, solutions, and data center infrastructures

Ability to work with team members from around the globe/experience working with offshore models

Strong service attitude and a commitment to quality

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
