We're seeking a seasoned data scientist to develop and deploy enterprise-wide analytics using cutting-edge techniques in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, robotics process automation, and more. This role offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, defense, and innovation. Core Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize advanced analytics tools and predictive models using techniques such as regression analysis, deep learning, and spatial analysis. Apply machine learning algorithms to large-scale datasets to deliver actionable insights using R, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and other data science platforms. Lead statistical R&D projects that inform process improvements and organizational strategy. Collaborate with government and contractor teams to implement solutions aligned with operational goals. Communicate technical findings clearly to diverse audiences through presentations, written reports, and stakeholder briefings. Stay current with advancements in analytics methodologies to support evolving mission objectives. Support internal collaboration, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination across analytical workstreams. Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. 7+ years of professional experience in data science or analytics roles. Proficiency in tools such as R, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred:
Master's degree in a related field. Experience in military operations, technology, or federal program/project management. Clearance:
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Additional Details
No supervisory duties. Physical requirements include prolonged desk work and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds. Must reside within commuting distance of Scott AFB, IL.
