Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler for our busy warehouse in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in the movement and organization of materials throughout our logistics facility. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading shipments, transporting items to various work areas, and ensuring materials are stored properly. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate material handling equipment. Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual and powered material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other delivery vehicles.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Sort and place materials in designated storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Safety regulations.
  • Ensure correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Follow all instructions from supervisors and adhere to company policies.
  • Support the logistics team with various warehouse tasks.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment for proper functioning.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, up to 55 lbs.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.
  • Commitment to Safety standards and practices.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
