About
Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our efficient logistics team! As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the movement of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload materials, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE. Performing daily inspections of the forklift and ensuring its safe operation is essential. This role requires a skilled and experienced operator who can handle the demands of a busy warehouse environment, including regular Lifting of materials. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and shipping docks.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated locations.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Follow all established safety rules and regulations.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- Must wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual.
