Join our thriving logistics operation in San Jose, California, as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick items for customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating products within the warehouse, ensuring correct quantities are picked, and preparing them for the packing and shipping process. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key to success. You will utilize hand-held scanners and follow pick lists to fulfill orders accurately. Maintaining a safe working area and adhering to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, is a top priority. This role requires the ability to perform consistent Lifting and stand for extended periods. Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is highly beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities before proceeding to the next item.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting devices as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to team goals and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability for moderate to heavy Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards.
- Understanding of logistics processes.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
