Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Accurately pick items, ensuring correct product codes and quantities.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages accurately and prepare them for shipping carriers.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Perform duties involving regular Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Support the overall logistics process through efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
- Prioritize Safety in all tasks performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
