Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and cycle counts.
- Ensure materials are properly organized, labeled, and stored.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a significant plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
