You will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is paramount. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of Safety protocols, and the ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Stack and stage materials in designated areas, ensuring stability and Safety.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment before operation and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including moving stock and verifying quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Strictly follow all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring efficient movement of goods.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work culture.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Safety procedures for forklift operation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
