About
Our dynamic warehouse in Boise, Idaho, is searching for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our operations. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the optimal functionality and safety of our warehouse equipment and facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all systems are operating efficiently. Your role is integral to our logistics infrastructure, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and without interruption. Safety is paramount, and all technicians must strictly adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify and resolve problems promptly.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the facility and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies for equipment maintenance.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed, including proper lockout/tagout procedures and the use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring equipment availability and minimal downtime.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, climbing, and some lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus.
