About
Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator looking for a stable opportunity in Provo, Utah? We have an immediate opening for a dedicated individual to join our growing logistics team. This role is critical to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products throughout our facility. You will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, re-locate, stack, and count merchandise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move goods.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any defects.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following good housekeeping practices.
- Understand and follow shipping and receiving procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions focused on safety and operational efficiency.
- Lift and move items manually when necessary, employing proper Lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency in our logistics operations.
