Our San Francisco, California location is seeking a highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee daily warehouse operations. This pivotal role ensures the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. Responsibilities include coordinating inventory, managing staff, optimizing workflow, and ensuring adherence to all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for implementing best practices to enhance productivity and minimize errors.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping.
- Coordinate and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse workflows and procedures.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage the scheduling of inbound and outbound logistics.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure its proper upkeep.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement safety programs and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Address any lifting or physical demands as necessary to support operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination. Proven ability to manage logistics operations effectively. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Ability to perform tasks involving lifting up to 40 lbs. A proactive approach to safety and operational excellence.
