This role is critical for the efficient movement of goods, involving a variety of tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This position requires a strong commitment to **safety**, adherence to all protocols, and the consistent use of provided **PPE**. The ability to perform significant **lifting** and operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, is often necessary. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and care.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safety**-compliant work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure all **PPE** is used correctly and consistently.
- Perform **lifting** of packages and materials throughout the shift, adhering to **safety** guidelines.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **logistics** department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform **lifting** up to 70 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **safety** practices and the importance of **PPE**.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
- Team-oriented and willing to assist where needed within the **logistics** team.
