Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Houston, Texas! We are looking for energetic individuals to support our fast-paced e-commerce fulfillment center. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Your duties will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role requires a high level of accuracy, speed, and a dedication to customer satisfaction within our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory shelves based on order slips or RF scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Select appropriate packing materials and shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
