Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Accurately pick products from inventory locations based on order requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Sort, organize, and stage products for outbound logistics.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification and training provided).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the distribution center, including aisles and work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE in a logistics environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
