Responsibilities:
- Select items from inventory based on pick lists or electronic scanners.
- Verify product accuracy and quantity before packing.
- Package products safely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels and any necessary documentation.
- Organize and stage completed orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to warehouse safety regulations.
- Achieve daily picking and packing quotas while ensuring accuracy.
- Handle products with care to minimize damage and returns.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock put-away.
- Follow all instructions regarding the use of PPE and other safety equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Capacity to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, regularly.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to logistics best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
