Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order fulfillment sheets or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy against the packing list and shipping documentation.
- Operate manual and powered equipment as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company policies, including those concerning PPE and workplace safety.
- Meet established productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in logistics and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Demonstrated understanding of safe Lifting techniques and general warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with using scanners or handheld devices for inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must wear required PPE at all times in designated areas.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
