Join our thriving warehouse in Charlotte as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. This critical role ensures customer satisfaction by delivering the right products, on time. You will be part of a dedicated logistics team focused on efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate equipment like pallet jacks as needed to move merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve picking targets.
- Understand and apply Logistics best practices for efficient order fulfillment.
- This role involves significant periods of standing, walking, and potentially moderate Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product codes.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail for order accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to handle Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
