Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our operations in Nashville, Tennessee! In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within our warehouse. Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials, supporting our overall logistics operations. This position requires a high level of concentration, a strong understanding of safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace and provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and ongoing safety training. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring correct placement of goods.
  • Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping functions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
  • Wear and properly utilize all required PPE.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Forklift Operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant).
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and good observational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE.
