About
We are seeking a focused and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will use scanning equipment and follow pick lists to locate and gather products, ensuring that all items are handled with care. We maintain a strong emphasis on Safety, and all associates are required to follow established protocols and use provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical agility, the ability to work at a pace, and perform moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists and scanning devices.
- Locate items within the warehouse efficiently.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on picked items.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
