Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Stock materials in designated inventory locations accurately.
- Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments based on order requirements.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Conduct regular checks of inventory levels and assist with inventory counts.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills are necessary. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods. A proactive attitude and a strong commitment to safety are essential.
