As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, speed, and attention to detail. You will navigate the warehouse to locate and retrieve specified items for customer orders, contributing directly to the satisfaction of our clients and the efficiency of our logistics operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and collect items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and safely for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for loading and dispatch.
- Operate manual and powered equipment to access inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Follow all safety regulations and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics system.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Experience with order picking systems or RF scanners is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A strong commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines is required.
