Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Richmond, Virginia! We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and ready to contribute to our busy distribution center. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your role is crucial to the efficient operation of our logistics network. You’ll be working with a dedicated team, ensuring that inventory is managed properly and that orders are processed accurately and promptly. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace and provide comprehensive training on all procedures, including safe Lifting practices and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in the warehousing field.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Utilize proper techniques for Lifting and moving materials to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting and to stand/walk for extended periods. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Must be committed to workplace Safety and willing to wear all required PPE.
