We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our busy warehouse in Chicago, Illinois. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments. You will verify the contents of deliveries against purchase orders, identify any discrepancies or damages, and ensure that all goods are processed correctly into our inventory system. Strong attention to detail is paramount for this position, as it directly impacts inventory accuracy and overall Logistics efficiency. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any receiving issues. This role may involve some moderate Lifting of items as needed to inspect products or move them to designated receiving areas. Adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Experience with scanning equipment and basic computer skills are necessary. A thorough understanding of warehouse receiving procedures is highly desirable. We are looking for a dependable individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
