About
We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial for maintaining our high standards of service and supporting our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or electronic pick lists.
- Verify product numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack selected items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed to retrieve items.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure inventory accuracy in assigned picking zones.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or stock issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required to support overall operations and logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and walking throughout the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its importance.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
