About
We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our dedicated team in Omaha, Nebraska! This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked, prepared, and packaged for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, verifying order details, and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. A strong focus on detail, speed, and accuracy is essential. This position involves frequent lifting, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is critical. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus, but we are eager to train individuals who are reliable, motivated, and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order sheets.
- Verify items picked against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Use appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is an advantage.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
