We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our facility in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the accurate and timely handling of inventory. Your responsibilities will include receiving shipments, stocking products, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Safety is a top priority; all associates are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment. This position involves consistent physical activity, including Lifting of boxes and materials, potentially up to 40 lbs. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. The ability to work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced setting is essential. - Receive, unload, and verify incoming goods.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas.
- Accurately pick items based on order requirements.
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels and documentation.
- Maintain the tidiness and organization of the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting equipment safely.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
This role requires a focus on efficiency and accuracy within our logistics workflow.
