Surgery - General Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon for locum tenens call coverage. This hospital-based role focuses on general surgery call responsibilities, supporting a two-surgeon practice. The provider will manage adult and geriatric patients, performing routine general surgical and endoscopic procedures.

• Coverage Needed: 7 10 days per month

• Specific April Dates: April 6, 7, 9, 17, 18, 19, 20

• Call Schedule: Variable

• Call Ratio: Sole General Surgeon on call

• Reason for Coverage: General Surgery call coverage

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based

• Trauma Designation: Non-trauma center

• EMR: Epic

• Operating Rooms: 5

• General Surgeons in Practice: 2

• OR Staff: Well-trained

• Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric

• Average Surgical Cases: 2 per day

• Adult general surgical cases

• Laparoscopic cholecystectomy

• GI endoscopy: Colonoscopy and Upper endoscopy

• Board Certified in General Surgery REQUIRED

• Ohio Medical License REQUIRED

• ACLS Certification REQUIRED

• Self-Query NPDB Report REQUIRED

  • Must be dated within 30 days of presentation

• Providers must specify available dates at time of name clear submission
