ISP is hiring a Test Engineer to support quality assurance for the implementation of a new statewide campaign finance software platform for a government client.
This role will focus on building automated tests and ensuring platform reliability as new features are developed. The system includes filing tools used by campaigns, administrative tools for government staff, and a public-facing site for reviewing campaign finance data.
The Test Engineer will help ensure the system functions correctly throughout development and during the launch process.
*Responsibilities*
· Build and maintain automated tests for web applications.
· Test application functionality across multiple workflows and features.
· Identify and document software defects.
· Work with developers to resolve bugs and prevent regressions.
· Develop browser-based automated tests using modern testing tools.
· Support testing cycles during development and system releases.
· Help establish QA processes that ensure reliable software delivery.
*Qualifications*
*Required*
· Experience building automated tests for web applications.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify software defects.
· Ability to document and communicate testing results clearly.
· Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
*Pluses*
· Experience with *Selenium*.
· Experience with *Playwright*.
· Experience testing complex web applications or SaaS platforms.
*Compensation and Logistics*
Salary: $75,000+, depending on experience and qualifications.
This is a full-time remote position. Includes 401k, PTO.
