$65.00 to $75.00/hr. W2 Key Responsibilities: Refactor Apex code to improve performance and accommodate increased data volumes. Update integration logic to stay aligned with new products and evolving data structures. Create unit tests and develop deployment-ready code, adhering to Salesforce best practices. Effectively document code changes and performance enhancements. Ensure platform uptime, stability, and scalability. Lead system architecture design, mentor peers, and provide constructive feedback on designs. Develop and maintain a robust public API. Deliver scalable solutions based on feature requests. Collaborate with data teams utilizing technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark. Work in partnership with data scientists to create valuable features. Collaborate with DBAs to design ETL processes and data warehouse systems. Automate solutions in collaboration with operations to enhance service reliability. Monitor and maintain production systems supporting the platform. Build analytical and monitoring tools for machine learning and data warehousing. Establish and execute strategies for networking, backups, and distributed deployments. Provision, configure, and monitor on-premises and cloud server resources. Define deployment strategies for both client-facing and internal tools. Continuously improve alerting and monitoring systems. Experience Requirements: Advanced experience in Apex programming and Salesforce development. Strong knowledge of Salesforce APIs, triggers, and batch processing techniques. Proven experience optimizing code for high-volume data loads. Familiarity with integration patterns and connecting external systems. Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills. Experience in software and systems development. Background in developing production-grade software systems. Working proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Elixir, or Go). Linux administration experience is a plus. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or Google Cloud. Understanding of IT security best practices. Experience with automation and configuration tools like Puppet or Ansible, and orchestration tools such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes. Solid understanding of computer networks.
