Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week

Salary: £13.21 per hour - £27,476.80 per annum

Level 3 Practitioner + Recognition Bonus (Pro Rata)

As our Room Leader , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the care and development of children aged 3 months to 1 year. Collaborating with a talented team of practitioners, you will:

• Create a nurturing and safe environment for children under 2 years old.
• Implement a key person approach to help babies form secure attachments.
• Guide colleagues in identifying training and development needs.
• Maintain high-quality learning journals and records using EyLog and EyMan systems.
• Build positive relationships with parents, inviting them to participate in activities and keeping them informed about their child’s progress.
• Model professionalism and consistency, fostering respect among your team, parents, and children.
• Ensure compliance with EYFS framework and uphold safety standards.

Your passion for outdoor learning and strong understanding of child development will be key to your success in this role!

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Essential)
• Previous experience working with babies under 2 years old
• A passion for the outdoors and enthusiasm for forest school activities
• Strong understanding of child development and ability to provide purposeful learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents and colleagues
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
