Summary
As a Data Scientist I at Jewelers Mutual, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights. You will leverage behavioral, product, and/or business data to understand and predict customer behavior. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand complex data needs and help drive business decisions. What You'll Be Doing Develop predictive models and algorithms to address business challenges and opportunities. Leverage behavioral analytics data to enhance existing models and drive data-informed decision-making. Explore new data and review, clean, and transform data as needed to support modeling, analysis, and data visualization. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and formulate data-driven solutions. Interpret and communicate insights and findings from analyses to stakeholders. Collaborate with business stakeholders to support the introduction of new products, enhancements to existing products (forms, rates, rules), and/or entry into new markets to reach company profit and growth targets. Serve as product expert supporting corporate actions and operational initiatives. Monitor overall product performance on Jewelers Mutual book of business and communicate findings to key stakeholders. Work on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Utilize JM Group or authorized third-party data to perform statistical analysis and data mining to understand current and historical patterns that can be utilized to improve business performance Physical Requirements

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Experience with Python and/or R as it relates to data manipulation and analysis. Experience with statistical methods and concepts, such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and probability theory. Experience with SQL, Power BI, and/or other query/reporting skills Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Effective communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences. What We Offer You
